| :: Vocation and Mission |
| The purpose of the Secção Autónoma de Patinagem is to "develop the activities and sports rink, in particular, speed skating, hockey, skating and artistic skating, a local scale and concelhia." |

| Secção Autónoma de Patinagem is therefore as follows: |
| - Promote the integral formation of young people through sport under the terms rink; |
| - Provide recreational the practice rink to the entire population at large; |
| - Organize actions for the promotion and dissemination of skating and the club; assess the best players, prepare them and take them to represent the club. |

| :: The Activities and Training |
| We with 42 children and young people in over 200 federated already participated in our sporting activities (the high-level competition and training). |
| Our activities are carried out by technicians accredited by the Federation of Skating in Portugal, with degrees and post-graduate in Physical Education. |
| We have trained trainers to develop three disciplines rink - in hockey skating, speed skating and artistic |
| We are implementing the project "Integrated Training and Youth Development of Skating" in partnership with the Group of Schools, which involve South-Ovar, in the next academic year (2007/08) about 300 children. |

| :: Promotion and Dissemination |
| We are holders of 25 titles of national champions, for teams, and 21 titles of national champions, individual. |
| Taking over several first places in tournaments in Spain and we have two skaters for international selection National Cadetes, taking one of them won a medal, a bronze in the European Cadetes 2006, one of seven medals ever in Portugal, in the discipline. |
| Both skaters are among the top ten velocistas Europeans in their category and are given for the route of high competition. |
| Only with seven years of age this is the fourth consecutive year that the club has a estagiar athletes in the selection and will be the third in which their elements represent the selection in international events. |
